Green Vibe Energy is powerful healing energy found in nature, represented by the color green. These energies come from:
I am healing while breaking toxic generational patterns, because I am worthy of being happy and having a life that is fulfilling and fun. It has been brutal work, this healing. I have been doing it by myself. And while we each have a very personal healing journey, we don’t have to walk alone. We can walk our own path next to other women walking on their paths. So I am making it easier for us to walk with others.
My life’s purpose is in creating safety and supportive environments in which women are empowered to create a life from which they never need to escape. Green Vibe Energy is one piece of the scaffolding around that work. It teaches women about the powerful ways in which they can begin their own healing journey, supported by the magic of nature.
Using my “hexagon of healing” model, women are encouraged to take the lead role in their own healing. I teach women how to approach their life with femininity and grace, and connect them to tools available in nature to support their wellness:
At the heart of my work is the facilitation of a community of GenX sisters: a safe space for healing and empowerment. We are building a sisterhood that will become the place we GenXers wish we had as young adults. Then, as each woman is regaining her sense of self and remembering that she is ALIVE, we engage our inner child and embrace our “Second Adolescence”, engaging in fun, playful activities that foster connection, and transformational guided group travel is how we put all we learn into practice. We work to heal ourselves, one another, and the Earth.
Or, to put it plainly, I curate healing, fun, and help other GenXers become fully ALIVE.
Yep. It means just what you think it means. We are returning to our youthful view of the world; play is central to our lives, and joy is freely expressed, without worry of what anyone thinks. I’m not just talking about the activities you engage in, but also how you express yourself outwardly. Wear all the loud colors and patterns! Dress in a costume to go to the store. Hand a stranger in the park a pool noodle and challenge them to a duel on the spot. Second Adolescence is about women empowerment to live without worry about how it affects other people, because guess what? It doesn’t affect them at all!
I’m looking for other GenX ladies who are ready to get out of survival mode and become fully ALIVE to band together. Who says you can’t be a kid again? I think it is crucial that you re-learn to play and to prioritize joy. It is time to awaken others to the fact that this is their life, and it should be one that bring you joy. I think it’s crucial to claim your sovereignty and bring joy back to your life.
It’s for GenX ladies who are ready to get out of survival mode.
If you are, I have a few predictions to make. See if you see yourself in any of these statements:
If that sounds like you, you have found your tribe. The VibeTribe is a safe community for GenX women who are seeking connection and community. If you are on a healing journey, and if you want to get back to a life of joy and fulfillment, we would love to have you as a memeber. Join for FREE HERE.

Green Vibe Energy came about as a result of my own healing journey.
I’m Joan Dahl; artist, creator, wanderer and wonderer. I’m a downshifter; I believe that life on this Earth was meant to be savored and enjoyed. But from the time we can walk, the world starts programming us to become someone who is willing to give their own personal resources toward following rules you didn’t get in a game you never agreed to play. And we let it happen, because it’s what we saw our parents do.
I played the game for a really long time. Worked my ass off for a future that isn’t promised, as I learned the hard way. Just when I thought I had my shit all together, it all fell apart. As a result of a lifetime spent in “fight or flight”, my body burned out. I’ve lived with constant pain since 2017. The diagnosis: fibromyalgia. And in 2022, the pain, brain fog and lack of good medical care resulted in a change drastic enough that I can no longer do the work I did as Operations Manager.
The pain made me miserable, and I felt like a failure for losing my wellness and career. How would I support myself?
So, I turned to meditation. I got certified to conduct group guided meditation. I got certified to facilitate cannabis meditation. Those were powerful, but not enough.
But!! My brain got curious. If cannabis (one of the few substances that really helped my pain), it stood to reason that other plants were potentially equally powerful. I started using cinnamon copiously. I got some herbs and started making teas. Learned to make infusions. Made a powerful salve for topical pain. Then I started having some friends try what I made. There was enough success to encourage my continued study of herbs. I experienced significant healing with herbs: got my A1C down to a normal range supported by cinnamon; replaced an over-the-counter sleep medication with a tea blend I created.
In the meantime, I participated in a mastermind class with a bunch of women and we learned what it meant to do business in feminine energy.
Then I got a few certifications:
And GVE was born.
What fascinates me about herbs and plants (and animals, in some cases) is that through tens of thousands of years (if not hundreds of thousands), humans and plants have evolved TOGETHER. Our bodies have changed and evolved and somehow plants have evolved in such a way that they continue to have the components necessary to nourish and strengthen our bodies. That seems magical to me.
I also believe we have lost so much incredible knowledge when colonizers decimated native civilizations. Throughout history, medicine women, shamen, gurus, and other people considered tribal healers all held deep knowledge about how to work with plant spirits for healing, but the native healers threatened the white-washed history that colonizers wished to replace actual history. The rise of Western medicine suddenly was hailed as being the best, and the knowledge of the wise tribespeople was lost. I seek to discover that knowledge.
GenX women are built different. And my work is to help them remember that they are ALIVE.
